A knee support is an elastic sleeve, wrap or strap worn over the knee for a feeling of support and stability during sport, training and everyday activity. Ours are the same type of sports supports sold in sports shops and by high-street retailers.

The knitted sleeves are 62% nylon, 23% elastane and 15% polyester with a silicone grip band. The open-patella sleeve and the adjustable support are 4 mm SBR foam with a brushed polyester lining and nylon outer. Straps are nylon webbing with foam padding. Everything is latex-free.

Yes. None of our supports, straps or grip bands contain natural rubber latex.

Measure with a tape measure: 10 cm above the kneecap for knee sleeves, around the elbow for the elbow sleeve, around the ankle bones for the ankle support. Each product page lists the size ranges, and the fitting guides explain how to measure. The adjustable knee support, patella strap and wrist strap are one size.

A knitted sleeve is the lightest and easiest for all-day wear and running. The open-patella foam sleeve feels firmer. The adjustable support has straps so you set the fit yourself and can loosen it during the day. The patella strap is a slim band worn just below the kneecap. Many people own more than one for different activities.

Wear it during activity and for a while afterwards if you like the feel. Take it off for long periods of rest and don't sleep in it. If the skin under it becomes red, itchy or numb, take it off.

Many people with sensitive skin wear them without problems, but if you're unsure, wear it for an hour first and check the skin. Don't wear a support over broken or irritated skin.

Hand wash at 30 °C with a little detergent, rinse well and air dry away from direct heat. Fasten hook-and-loop straps before washing. Don't bleach, tumble dry or iron.

Yes. You can try a support on for size and return it within 14 days of delivery as long as it's unworn beyond trying on, unwashed and in its packaging. See our Returns page for how.

No. It's a sports and everyday support accessory, the same kind of support sold in sports shops. It isn't a treatment and we don't make health claims. If you have a health concern, speak to a professional.
